Hi there,

I wonder if someone could please assist me.

I have a clean install of Joomla 1.5.22.

I have enabled the upgrade plug in called 'System - Mootools Upgrade'

My custom template also has the following script in the head:
Code:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.google.com/jsapi"></script> <script type="text/javascript">google.load("mootools", "1.3.0");</script>

Further down the head is this code:
Code:
<script type="text/javascript" src="/plugins/system/mtupgrade/mootools.js"></script>

When I try to install Kunena 1.6.2 using the 'Upload Package File' option, after about 45 seconds I get this error:
Code:
There was an error uploading this file to the server

I went to your checklist before installing and I believe I fulfill the requirements. Just to check I have tried with the Google APi links disabled, and then another time with those enabled and the link further down to Joomla's internal Mootools link disabled but everything gives me the same result.

I then tried uploading it using the default template JA Purity and still the same thing happened.

PHP is not running in safe mode.

I tired installing Kunena 5.1.3 and that wen in no problem so it appears to be a 1.6.2 issue.

The only other install that has occured so far on this Joomla is the latest JCE Editor.

If somene could please suggest a way forward I would be truly grateful.

Hi,

probably you have a upload limit set to 2MB in your php.ini file. So try other installation way in Joomla Installer, from directory or from URL.

I've just worked it out actually.

My PHP is not new enough to run it hence the probem.

Thanks for your thoughts anyway though - I do appreciate it.
