I tried that step and I get this error "There was an error uploading this file to the server."
Any idea?

Yes, there are many reasons why that may happen. There is a lot of information available at
forum.joomla.org
about installation problems and that particular error.
Sometimes, though, the error is as simple as not having the file and folder permissions properly set. See docs.kunena.org/index.php/Securing_Kunena
To find out the specific reason why there was "an error uploading this file to the server" you need to enable Joomla debug mode and look at the Apache server logs.

hi.
uploaded max files was too low that's why I was getting an error when I tried the upload. I changed the upload max files size and I was able to upload the files. quick question and it may sound stupid but which color should I click on?
Yellow "Migrate to kunena 1.5.9" or green "install kunena 1.6.1? will my data be lost once I install 1.6.1?
