Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Question No "Skinner" Option

This is a bit of an odd problem.

I went to try out the new Skinner template and so updated Kunena onto my demo site to 1.6.1 (from 1.6 RC 2) and set the "Blend with Joomla Template" option to "Yes". It looked fantastic.

So I went an updated the version of Kunena on my site to 1.6.1 (from 1.6 Stable). I went into the template options just as I did with the demo site, but there was no "Blend with Joomla Template." option listed.

Both sites are Joomla 1.6.20. Both have the same RocketTheme template with the same version. I uploaded the package via FTP to a install/kunena/ directory first and installed it both times from that directory. The only different is maybe that the main site is configured a bit differently.

So, are there any settings or options that would cause the "Blend with Joomla Template" option to not appear?

Hi, it looks like that the files didn't overwrite it. Can you upload the template manually by ftp.
