ello, my problem its as follows. I have the nasty file owner problem on my host, i CANT install anything directly to my live joomla, i use an offline host at my home to be able to install stuff and then upload the whole site and database to the live site.
That have work for every extension till kunena forums. I downloaded the site and the database, put the live site on maintenance and made a sql database export.
I tested the site on my home server and uploaded many new extensions that worked perfect including Kunena forums.
After testing everything was ok i reuploaded de site and database to the live server and everything works as intended till i tried to open the forum. Blank Screen.

I turned on the debug and heres the error i get:

JDatabaseMySQL::query: 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'Object' at line 1 SQL=Object

I bet my problem its one of two things: File permisions on some Kunena directory or file, or the fact that my home server dont use the same path for the http directory as the live and Kunena must be pointing at some directory that simply its not there.

heres the site if you need to see it: www.http://ci-tec.com.ve

Many thanks in advance.

Hello,

You need to have php 5.2.3 to be able to work with kunena correctly.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.
