Important JLIB_APPLICATION_ERROR_COMPONENT_NOT_LOADING

I am using Joomal 1.6.3 and latest and greatest Kunena,
I installed kunena with no issues,
but i tried to uninstall and no i get this message both on my front end and backend on every page

JLIB_APPLICATION_ERROR_COMPONENT_NOT_LOADING

i ensured all menu items are gone from reading previous posts, but still there...
can anyone help?

May I ask which specific "latest and greatest Kunena" are you trying to install? Please read K 1.6. Installation Guide .

I searched the Joomla forum for information on this issue. The advice was, of course, inconclusive, but it seems to centre around the following issues:

(1) Joomla SEO for J! 1.6
(2) The site template that you are trying to use with Kunena; and
(3) Whether people have used jUpgrade 1.0.0 to migrate from J! 1.5 to J! 1.6.

So any of these issues seem appropriate to your circumstances? If not, we need to keep looking for other ideas.

Check if Kunena system plugin was left behind (or another Kunena plugin) and remove it. Or install Kunena again and the message should be gone.

I think that this issue is caused bad entry in your extensions database because of a bug in Joomla <= 1.6.1.
