Hey,

I did read a little about howto merge from phpBB3 to Kunena. Here I read it docs.kunena.org/index.php/PHPBB3_to_Kunena

Im new to the Joomla Universe - so it seems quite a big job.... and I dont even understand all the steps...

Before trying see if Im able to do convert I have some questions

1. what data is ported to Joomla/Kunena during the convert?
post, read count, personal msg's, profile fields like location, bithday etc, forum permissions, avatars...

2. when I do the convert is there send out any msg's to the users? (if so I cant test it in a live site)

Hmm - damn I need help :)

Hello,

I advise you to make a backup of your site and try it on your local machine, if i remember right the attachments aren't converted. These topics should help you : www.kunena.org/forum/191-kunena-migrator...ir-data-to-kunena-16 or www.kunena.org/forum/135-k-15-installati...810-phpbb3-to-kunena

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.
