Question Need help to manually remove Kunena 1.6.3 from joomla 1.6 site.

Now, here is my problem:

I tried installing Kunena forum om a website I am working on ( www.earthoftomorrow.com )

It ended with a failed installation.

Not being able to try install again I went deleting kunena folders.

What I need now is help to delete the whole Kunena - all the files so I can start a fresh install.

I have deleted folders in component, admin-component and in plugins.

Need to get all Kunena of my website for a clean install.

Anybody?

If you have removed all files then you should be able to install again!
But just to be sure go through phpmyadmin and delete kunena tables, you should find them easy.

You need to delete files but also database entries.

So you can delete components/com_kunena in the joomla root and administrator/com_kunena files, and Kunena database tables (prefixed by kunena_).

Then you can make a new fresh install.

If you have an error installing it that isn't already mentionned, please report it on the forum.

Try to install Kunena again and remove it from the installer. That should clear up about everything.
