I wish I understood why it seems to be the case that so many people have difficulty with Joomla SEO. When we learn why these issues seem to occur so many times, we might be able to find a way to prevent them happening.

I don't think the problem is just a Kunena problem; I think this is Joomla menu problem.

Question for msg4wale: how many ways can you get to your Kunena forum? In other words, I see the "Forum" link on the left menu on your site. Do you have any other links like this?

no that's the only link to the forum for now. i also intend including it on the jomsocial toolbar just like we have it on this site kunena.org

Thank you for your answer.

404 errors are usually generated by Joomla when you have a menu problem and, nearly all of them, if you have not properly setup SEO. That's what xillibit was trying to say. That's what I was trying to say.

There is a guide in the Wiki. Please read it very carefully.

Joomla SEO is not just two radio buttons on the Global configuration. Those radio buttons are the easy part - anyone can do that! The second ingredient is the .htaccess file. So, just to be sure, read that guide again and pay attention to the words written about .htaccess file. Good luck. :)
