Kunena 7.0.8 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.8 [K 7.0.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

G'day, Tony, and welcome to Kunena.
I'll be completely honest with you and say that it's been so long since I had anything to do with Fireboard (or with Joomla 1.0 for that matter) I really can't remember what you are supposed to do. One thing is certain, however: you need to get to Joomla 1.5.22 as your number one priority!
Your second-top priority is to eliminate all the Joomla 1.0 legacy stuff. The last thing that you then need to concentrate upon is converting from Fireboard to Kunena. You should be able to do that. You probably need to upgrade from FB 1.0.4 → FB 1.0.5 RC2 (but I'm not sure). I believe that the K 1.6 installer will allow you to convert and upgrade from Fireboard → Kunena ... but you've got a lot of work to do before you get into that situation.
