Question Error: 'JFolder::create: Could not create directory' on visit

":JFolder::create: Could not create directory" shows up every time I visit the forum after installing it. I have installed in on Joomla! 1.5.22 with K 1.6.2. All directories and files have been chmod to 755 yet is still not helping to the problem. I have read through other threads and they don't seem to offer a practical solution too.

For additional information, the download package was uploaded to *\forum using FileZilla and then installed at *\ components\com_kunena\ .

The usual solution to this kind of problem is to follow the guide published in Securing Kunena (which is actually a reference to a guide that's published on the Joomla help site) and to make sure that the instance of Joomla that you've setup has the correct ownership (which is something that you might need to discuss with your webhost).

I've never encountered this problem myself - maybe I'm one of the lucky ones who has a good webhosting company, I don't know - but I've read, somewhere, that you should have your files "owned by Apache". Don't ask me what that means. I'm just a user and all I did was search for "JFolder::create: Could not create directory" in this forum.
