I just upgraded kunena to 1.6.2 and since the client side of my site displays a blank white page only. No error code given. Very strange!

Any ideas guys?

Thanks

Hello,

Do you meet the requierements : docs.kunena.org/index.php/Kunena_1.6.2_R...#System_Requirements ?

Like that it's difficult to say something, if you can make a copy of you site and then upgrade to kunena 1.6.2. Then enable debug mode in Joomla configuration panel to see if you see some errors.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Please read very carefully the release notes for K 1.6.2 .

I think that the reason your website has a "blank page" is because you were running an add-on that was designed for an old version of Kunena (or Fireboard). If you turn on Joomla debug mode you will probably see the error message that will confirm this fact.

K 1.5.5!! Wow! That's pretty old! Even so, the K 1.6 installation process has been tested successfully with many old versions of Kunena and so it should not be your specific version that is causing the problem. As you implied, the upgrade procedure completed successfully. It was only when you tried to use the forum that you had problems. The white page indicates that you are running incompatible software with Kunena.
