Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hi,

I have downloaded the recent Kunena 1.6. I tried to install it via Extension->Install/uninstall
But it says Unable to find install package..

I am using Joomla 1.6
please help me regarding this issue

What does this mean? I have the same error upgrade from 1.5.13 to 1.6.1 with Joomla 1.5.22 on Ubuntu 10.10.

There was an error uploading this file to the server.

Unable to find install package


I did this update last night on another website and everything worked. Upgrade from 1.5.13 to 1.6.1.



Also when you login using the login box on the your home page, you get his error at the top of the page of your profile.

This means that you need to choose in Joomla! extensesions manager, the installation way with the directory instead of load directly the zip file.
I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.
