Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

yes its a fairly fresh install of joomla only other app installed is jseblod. I downloaded and installed the zip, and the pictures I posted above show the results.

What does jseblod do? Have you considered the possibility that this may be the cause (although I somehow doubt it)?

I asked you to create, from scratch, a clean installation of Joomla 1.5.22, add Kunena 1.6.1, on the same webhost as you are currently using and to report whether you are experiencing the same errors. If you choose not to use this suggestion, I don't know what other advice I can offer you at this time.

Can you please post a picture of your Joomla Language Manager page.
