Hi all,

I have a similar problem after migration from 1.5.4 to 1.6.3.

All the attachments of my 17 000 posts have quite all disappeared, near to 1000 not pics but files when they have been upload in the oldest version.

Now, we only see an icon without any pics and the url seems to have changed to i.e. //tmp/phpCbUyYK/phpCbUyYK without any extension or correct name of image...

I'm quite lost, does anyone can help?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I too have just migrated (1.0.4 to 1.6.1) and have attachment and display problems.

Initially no images within post displayed and there was an attachment link box. The post itself contained an [IMG]{/IMG] tag with a link to /media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/xxxx. Since none of the images had been moved I moved them from /media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images. I also updated the attachment table with the new image location. Now nothing displays in the post, not the image nor the attachment block.

If I remove the attachment from the post, the image displays. If I remove the {IMG}{/IMG} from the post, the attachment block displays but the image does not. If I unlink the attachment (clear the check box and save) the image is displayed.

It seems I need to have the images in both the old and new folders and have the attachments table pointing to them back in the fbfiles directory. Trying that now.

Confused..me too.

Does anyone can help? I've made the upgrade without any issue, everything seems to work fine however all the previous attachments are broken with this strange adress...

Thanks a lot in advance!

Here is something i did to fix a few of mine....
1. Create a new post and add a picture
2. Once added, then look at the url for that image
3. Now compare that url to the url of a broken image
4. You will find, extra and old temp url added to these broken images
5. Remove this, and add the proper url and tge broken image will fix

I will try to get screen captures to explain more.

This is what worked for me:

1. copied files from images/fbfiles/xxxx/ to media/kunena/attachments/legacy/xxxx/
2. updated xxx_kunena_attachments table, folder column to new file locations
3. updated xxx_kunena_attachments table, type column to image/xxx (where xxx is the image type jpg, gif, png) for images and blank for files
