Important Front page component brake

First, great product! 1.6.1 is definitely a must have. Just a minor problem, after upgrading to 1.6.1 my frontpage component brake. It's no longer in the position that it was before the upgrade and mind you that I paid someone to work on my site so now I have no clue on how to put that component back to its position. Any help would be appreciate.

I'm sorry but I don't know how this issue is related to having problems with installing Kunena. Actually, I don't understand, from the images you showed, how this has something to do with Kunena at all.

Could you please provide your K 1.6 configuration report? Thanks.

right after I installed the product I was getting some errors with a blank page in the frontpage. After reading some infos in this forum I was able fix the errors and the blank page but was having some issues with the bbcode in my forum and the position of that component that was moved in my front page.. so basically, the upgrade brake the frontpage.

What were the "infos" so that I can see what you did to fix your earlier errors. Maybe it was your fixes that caused the problem. I don't know until I see what was the earlier problem.

What were these BBcode issues and, in fixing those, is that what caused the problem that you're now having? I don't know unless you explain what you mean.

Your front page does not display the Kunena component. From the hard-to-read images that you posted, it looks as though your front page displays the Kunena latest posts module and the Kunena discuss feature and either the latest posts module or the discuss feature may be what is causing your front page layout to break. What happens if you unpublish (i.e. disable) either of these things?

I still do not understand why you have posted your question in the Installation and Upgrade category. The Installation and Upgrade category is for problems with the installation or upgrade process. If you have already successfully installed Kunena why is this topic here? I asked earlier if you would provide your K 1.6 configuration report. You have not replied to that question.

What were the "infos" so that I can see what you did to fix your earlier errors. Maybe it was your fixes that caused the problem. I don't know until I see what was the earlier problem.

Lets try this again

After installation I got Msql error codes with some of my components all over the front page. I found a post here suggesting to uninstall old kunena plugin or module and I did that which resulted of fixing the Msql error code. In the meantime, position of that component you see in the screenshot was moved!

Again, BBcode were not showing.. with a brief search in this forum I found a post talking about this issue and process to take to resolve it. I patiently disable all my plugins til I found out which plugin was conflicting with the k 1.6. That's how I fixed it.. My component still remain in the same position in the frontpage(down position)!

I think the problems that you are having involve one of the other add-ons that you've implemented on your website ... not the Kunena forum product itself. In this case it would be better if we focus on which add-on is causing the mischief and deal with that in the appropriate way.

This category is for problems during and with the installation of, of upgrade from an older version of Kunena to, K 1.6.x. If the problems concern one of the add-ons developed for Kunena, let's understand clearly what those problems are and to discuss them under one of the categories appropriate to each (or both) of those things. These other categories are:

• Kunena Discuss (P)
• Kunena Latest Posts (M)

Because we only have a screen capture image to work from, because we have not seen your K 1.6 configuration report and because there is no evidence (from the image) that it's the Kunena forum component that is singularly responsible for the problems that you are experiencing, I do not thing that this category is appropriate. Your assistance in this matter would be appreciated. Thank you.
