Ok - it works under /forum, but not /community/forum, which is where I want it to be. I'm not sure what to do to the menu to change this. I've tried moving the redirect link under that, but that doesn't work because all the Kunena items are on their own menu, where the community links are not.

And the profile link doesn't work - /forum/profile, which should be integrated with JomSocial. The JomSocial plugins were upgraded so it shouldn't be that. I get a big lag pocket, and then: The webpage at .../forum/profile might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

You know I have never tried what you are attempting. With Jomsocial being a standalone component, I am not sure what would happen when you move the forum menu into the name space of JomSocial.
The error you are getting is coming from JomSocial that does not have a class like that defined.
You have to try different things with the menu. If the alias does not work, you have to copy all of the kunenamenu entries into the main menu under community.

It worked fine before...

I think I fixed it, however. Except for one thing (below). What I did to fix this issue was delete the Forum redirect link that was put in my main menu, then moved all the forum items from the Kunena menu into the main menu. Then I changed the parent to "community", as it was before, and it seemed to work after that.

The only remaining broken thing is that the /forum/profile link does not work - it gives me the "webpage is not available" which makes me think it might be crashing apache somehow. It's supposed to be linking to the JomSocial community page. Those plugins are all installed, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

It worked before because Kunena 1.5 did not use Joomla menus for it navigation.

Not sure about the profile tab, but you can simply work around that by placing a link to the JomSocial Profile page in there.

FYI - Independent of the menu this might be of interest for you: www.kunena.com/forum/170-k-16-templates-...late-skinner-preview
