I agree with xillibit. I think we need to see more details than "fried my site"; how specifically was your site fried? Please understand, we are trying to address this matter scientifically and professionally.

It's important to remind everyone who uses Kunena (or any other web software product) that they, as website manager/administrators, are responsible for their own site backups. In this case, it was fortunate that the webhosting provider was able to provide ready assistance.

If you read the installation notes (see Kunena 1.6.0 Read Me ) you will see the word "backup" is mentioned four times, including:

We would like to underscore the importance of backups before and after any upgrade process. Never perform an install or upgrade without a full backup.

However, without further details from you it's impossible for us to guess what might have caused whatever it was that happened.

I tried to tell to developer team previously, how important is tell all requirements in "Release news" for the users...

In this time there is not that: www.kunena.com/blog/19-developer-blog/69...-160-stable-released

There always should be link to: docs.kunena.com/index.php/Kunena_1.6.0_Read_Me

This is not this user but there is the user's which not check they systems... or all other things...

This matter should be included in all releases in future at least?

Just my opinion...

I agree with you, Mortti, but now is probably not the best time for a post-mortem analysis. Let's see if we can find out what is the specific problem and how best to try to solve it. :)
