Hi All, RC worked well for me, I just saw RC3 was out so have tried to upgrade and get a language error...

Prepare Installation ... OK
Migrate fb_version ... OK
Alter kunena_version ... OK
Uncompressing admin.tar ... OK
Uncompressing site.tar ... OK
Uncompressing media.tar ... OK
Installing language German (Deutschland) ... OK
Installing language English (United Kingdom) ... OK
Installing language Spanish(EspaƱol Internacional Formal) ... OK
Installing language French (FR) ... OK
Installing language Magyar (Hungary) ... Failed

Now, My forum is offline and all it wants to do is try and keep trying to upgrade, any suggestions?

Cheers

English - United Kingdom. Any suggestions? One error message said that the language that caused the error did not have something or other in there. (Yeah I know, I never wrote it down, sorry)

Work around: There seems to be a bug in the supplied hungarian language pack.

To bypass this error, please uninstall the hungarian language in Joomla it self and reinstall Kunena.

Once Kunena is installed you can reinstall the Joomla language pack.

For not the hungarian language will not be available on your site inside of Kunena.

Will that work until we have a fix for it?

Another way to do it is to remove hu-HU from Kunena zip.

If you need the language, you can extract it and look at the xml file. If you find a way to fix the file, you can install it by using Joomla installer.

1.) Do we know what the error/bug is in the hungarian translation that is causing this?
2.) We should look into making language installs optional and not abort the entire install when such an error happens.

Is it possible to only include the basic language files and make the others part of the KED?

The issue come from because you haven't the core joomla language for Hungary but english, so it's the reason why kunena fails to install this language pack, and there is no issues with kunena.
