Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Hi,

I'm moving from a phpbb forum to a Joomla site with Kunena. The question I have is related to the importing of the existing forum. Should I move my Joomla site from the local host to the server and do the import there? Or would you recommend to download the phpbb forum to my local host? In case of the latter, only the tablets or do I need the php files as well?

Secondly.... where are the instructions for the importer? I couldn't locate them.

Install the kunena importer. The instructions are on the homepage of the importer.

I don't know where the best place to do the import is. I've always done them on the live server but that's just me.

I think the only file you will need is the attachment files.
