Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Version Upgrade Problem was created by vinod.ostech
We are using kunena 1.6.0 and wnat to upgrade it to 1.6.4. But when upgrading i am getting following error.

Unable to write entry

Unable to find install package.

My PHP vesion is 5.2.17

Mysql 5.0.77

Mootools 1.5

Joomla 1.5.23

I had tried both Upload Package File & Install from URL methods. What i am getting wrong? Please suggest.

You have directory or file permission issues in your site. It looks like joomla tmp directory has wrong permissions.

we have all directory permissions set to writable.Now i am getting different error when upgrading the component by Upload Package File method.

There was an error uploading this file to the server.

Unable to find install package.


When i am using install from url method i ma getting following error

* JFolder::folder: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.

* Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.

I believe that the issue Matias was referring to relates to the matters discussed in Securing Kunena . Have you looked at that article for information that helps you?
