Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
Question How to change Kunena index page browser title?
I have just started using Kunena (upgraded from Joomlaboard).
The browser title for the Kunena forum home page is currently 'Index'. I want to change this to reflect the name of my site i.e. 'The Environmental Illness Resource Forums'.
How would I do this?
Thanks.

I realise that this was your first message and I have taken that into account when you posted your message in the K 1.6 Support category with an issue that was not related to a defect, an issue with the standard construction or functional integrity of Kunena, something that is broken or something that is not in evidence here at www.kunena.org . You may not have seen the information given in the description about the K 1.6 Support category which states (among other things):
In your case, the answer is fairly simple:Please do not use this category to ask for help if K 1.6 does not work for you in the same way as it works here at this website. Please do not use this category to request a change to the standard behaviour of Kunena.
Go to Forum Configuration » General » Forum Title = The Environmental Illness Resource Forums
Does this help?

Thanks for the welcome and apologies for posting in the wrong category. Where should I have posted this question?
My Forum Title is already set to 'The Environmental Illness Resource Forums' in the Kunena config but the browser title still displays as 'Index'.
I have included screenshots of the backend config and the home page of the forums on the site to illustrate.
The installation can currently be found at - www.ennoc.com/ennoc/matthew/forum/index.html
Thanks again.

I have moved this topic for you.maff23uk wrote: Where should I have posted this question?
Depends to some degree on the browser software you are using. If you are using Firefox your window title should say "Index - The Environmental Illness Resource Forums - Mozilla Firefox" In Internet Explorer the window title should read "Index - The Environmental Illness Resource Forums - Internet Explorer". If you are using Google Chrome, for example, your tab title would read "Index - The Environmental Illness Resource Forums".maff23uk wrote: My Forum Title is already set to 'The Environmental Illness Resource Forums' in the Kunena config but the browser title still displays as 'Index'.
However, these things depend on how your PC is configured, what operating system you are using, and what specific customising you might have done to your browser.
I looked at the pictures; I went to your website. I see what you see. You're not using the default Blue Eagle template. Perhaps that's the reason? Have you asked your question at the website where you obtained your Kunena template?

Should have thought of that sorry. I am struggling to get on top of masses of issues like this after migrating from J1.0.15 to J1.5.22. Not easy when you're chronically ill and your brain doesn't work...
Many thanks for helping me root out the source of the problem. I'll contact the template developer (although they have been consistently ignorant of other support questions so far!).
Cheers.
