Question Edit the Info Displayed in Profile

I completely agree with the peoples right to choose, but in this case with the settings I have used, there is no way for anyone to view the forum profile therefor having all those options for people to fill out with nowhere to view them is just useless for me. With the Kunena site you can at least still view both the jomsocial profile AND the Kunena profile, which is why people don't get confused here. I also made sure to back up the template in case anything in the future arises and plan on doing lots of testing before launch, and all I did was comment out, I didn't go changing any code.

As for the time it took, I wasn't saying I was frustrated with your response time, just forums in general, till I realized I was getting help for free so I should be thanking not cursing.

But, if people can't view the Kunena user profile on your website, how are they going to enter (or worry about) the information that you want to "remove"? There's a logical inconsistency with this argument.

I'm trying to help you as best as I am able, but I don't understand the specific need.

I downloaded the Kunena Menu plugin that allows you to edit your kunena profile from your jomsocial profile. With the jomsocial/Kunena settings I have configured the only settings from the Kunena profile that are being used are the signature and the editable forum settings. So no one is able to see the Kunena profile public view, but they are still able to see the signature and able to change their forum settings. Because of this I didn't want all the customizable options in the Kunena profile editor, just the 4 that are actually seen/used. I hope that explains it, and it's also working fine how I did it so I guess this is just taking up your time on an already solved issue. Sorry.

I was searching for this as I the EDIT and BACK buttons are unclickable for me when going to the Forum Profile (I integrate with Jomsocial)


II hope someone can help me with this as otherwise I will have to remove the fields.
