I may have posted this on the wrong forum earlier, so am re-posting under support. I cannot set up a general registered account to show the problem; however, if anyone could register and look at it, I would be grateful for the help. Here's the problem: Under the current site (Joomla 1.5) www.yaim.org , the Discussion Forum is just how we like it. Now go to www.yaim.org/nw (Joomla 1.7, still in dev status), register and go to the Discussion Forum. The width of the Kunena template is wider on the new one. How can I make the overall size slimmer to fit inside of my Joomla template? I looked into some of the coding but cannot see where the size is. Thanks for any help. If a developer could help, send me a private message and I will gladly set up an account for you, but need an email to do so.

Kunena template has minimal width of 700 pixels; It doesn't fit too well into narrower space, so I would rather remove the left side menu. :)

It looks like your Kunena template options were reseted as you were using blending option before. Maybe switching to it fixes your issues?

The only blending option I found was in the template manager in Kunena and neither site uses blending there. I did try it but all it did was change the color. Is there another place in configuration to check? Did you by chance register to look at both of them? This is the last component I have to resolve before we can go live so I would really appreciate your assistance. I have the width and "restoring Kunena menu" which I've followed all directions in FAQ (I know that's another topic//it's just to say I have 2 issues before going live and both are with getting this operating right). Thanks so much for helping me resolve this.

Our CSS has min-width: 700px inside the first rule in the kunena.forum-min.css file inside the template. Removing that rule should allow Kunena to shrink. But be warned as not everything will fit into smaller space anyway.

I would rather remove the menu from the pages where Kunena is active.

I found it and changed it to 600px but nothing changed? Can I pm you?

You should use FireBug (or similar inspection tool) to find out what rule makes forum too wide.

Like I said in my signature, I'm not reading PMs very often.
