I've downloaded the greybird buttonset from the extensions directory and want to use it in the theme I have installed (ArgentRC). But can't work out how to do it?
I have a zip file file numerous images and CSS files. I've tried installing through the theme manager but no luck, couldn;t find any related posts on the forum and could not find any documentation about it.
easiest way to do this is to navigate to the current button set you are useing, rename it to something else as a backup, then upload your new buttonset and change the name of that buttonset to exactly what your old sets name was.
-edit- I just looked at an argent template, /components/com_kunena/template/default/media/iconsets/buttons/default/default.png") you would rename default.png to default-backup.png and add the new set here, renaming it to default.png. excuse me if the location is different, i just grabbed the first argent template, theres a dark one etc.
The ability to use different button sets depends on whether the Kunena template that you are using allows you to use different button sets. In this case (using a third party-developed template) the best answer is to contact the author of the template that you are using for Kunena.
