Kunena 6.2.6 released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

Without seeing your website it's not very easy to help you with the answer to this question. The input box background colour is defined by your site template unless, of course, you are not using the standard Kunena Blue Eagle template. But we have no way of knowing that because you haven't given us any of those details.
Without knowing any of these details, the best help that I can give you is to suggest that you use Firebug for Firefox. Firebug is the web designer's best friend ... although there are other tools you can use, if you prefer). There is a quick tutorial on how to use Firebug , if you have 5 minutes; I think it's worth it.
