Question Displaying Thank Yous in Karma's place

I have been looking for a way to make Karma increase when a user thanks another user's post. But it just hit me that it would be much simpler and smarter to just display the total amount of Thanks that a user has received in users' info and disable Karma since you only can give one Thanks for a post (thereby decreasing the chance of misuse.) I'm aware of the most thanked users page in statistics but that's not exactly the same thing. Does anyone have a clue for how you could display the amount of Thanks received (and maybe given too) for each user on view-topic?

"Thank you" is a K 1.6 feature. You have posted this question in a category set aside for K 1.5 issues. You cannot do what you are asking to do in K 1.5 because there is no "Thank you" feature in K 1.5.

I'm sorry. There is no Hacks, Tips and Tricks category for K 1.6. The closest suggestion that I can offer is the K 1.6 Templates and Design category. Perhaps there is someone who has a similar use for your idea who is willing to invest their time in developing the concept. Perhaps, someone might like to contact you privately with an offer to develop this idea for a small financial consideration.

Perhaps you might like to use this idea as the basis for a feature request for a future version of Kunena and maybe the developers might consider it as a option for the future. You decide what's best and I'll move this topic for you.

Well i wouldn't mind paying a fee for this but since this hardly is something only i am interested in i don't think i should be the only one donating to such a project.

Move it to the templates and design category for now then and we'll see what happens.
