The problem is definitely caused by your site template. Sometimes these issues are easy to fix and sometimes they're not. We won't know how difficult they are to fix unless we see your website.

Although we may be able to fix the issue so that you can use Kunena, there may be unintended consequences that mean that your site template may not work as expected elsewhere on your website. We won't know that until we see your website.

You can probably fix this problem quicker than we can if you use Firebug for Firefox. In the time it takes you to download and install Firebug for Firefox, make two mouse-clicks and see where the problem is, you might be able to solve the problem instead of waiting for an answer from this forum.

Do you think it would be possible for us to see where you are having this problem, please? In other words, what is the URL of the website where you have this problem. Thank you.
