Hi,

was wondering if it is possible to change the way kunena displays a small bit of txt that says 1 new etc.. as my forum members are complaining that it is not very clear which topics have new replies or posts?

like a lot of other forum software they have it so that the icon changes or flashes in the threads that have new posts for each user when they log into the forum

cheers
Jay

Good question - I don't know the specific answer.

Having an icon - even an animated image - may be nice but there are other advantages to having a text-based new indicator. The NEW indicator shows how many new messages have been written to the topic during the current logon session. Maybe that's not for everyone but I don't know how to change the current "new indicator" text into an image. Sorry.

Is there a way to change the size and color of the "(NEW)" notification?
And/or possibly change the color of the folder icons to a brighter color such as red, instead of the pale green (that is not much of a noticeable change from the blue)?
Any help with this would be great! It really is a very SMALL font and hard to see/notice.
Thank you!
