I am testing Kenuna 1.6.1 on my development server and have noticed some problems with the display of Kunena forums and my template. After poking around the template I found that the component is called correctly but being display weird by Kunena itself. The top menu bar stays at the top while the forum is pushed to the bottom. Can anyone give me some suggestions or what time of information you would need to further help me? I'm excited to upgrade to Kunena 1.6.1!
Without knowing anything about your website, from the image you posted I am 99% sure that your layout issues are caused by your site template. Without knowing anything else about your website I can't tell you any more than that. See Firebug for more help.
Thanks for the reply Sozzled. I am using the template
Dreamsquare
but slightly modified. I tested the Kenuna 1.6.1 install on the original PHP code and it still showed these properties of pushing the content down. Maybe you or someone else could take a look at the code and see if there's something that pops out? Or even test drive it yourself on a dev server?
Thanks for the help so far and I would be glad to do my best at providing as much information as possible to let you all help me with my problem. I appreciate it!
Do you have a live URL? I did a fresh install of your template and Kunena 1.6.1 and the problem isn't there. So it's likely with one of your customizations.
Severdia, thanks for the help and I appreciate you installing the template to check it out. I do not have Kunena 1.6.1 on a live install since this error shows up. I've been testing on akeeba backups on my Virtualbox development environments. Maybe this is a module or plugin not playing nice? I'll do some more testing on my end as well. I'd like to say I could put it live but my development environments are not on all the time.
