Question Redesign of Kunena editor?

I am wondering how difficult it is to do a little redesign of the post editor. For a good example of an editor I like a lot, take a look at the 2.x version of the SMF forum. It is clean and help focus your attention on the writing. My feeling of the editor or post part of Kunena is a little "flashy" with the big icons. Also, I would prefer to hide the category drop down. I am sure some like it, but for me, it is pointless to be in one category and post in another. I want people to post in the category they are reading at the moment.

One thing I DO love about the Kunena editor is the file attachment section. Exactly the way it should be.

I have no idea what editor they are using, but that is actually besides the point. What I like is the layout of the post screen. With one exception - the captcha. But I guess that is optional.

Notice also that the text area can be re-sized by dragging at the bottom of it.

All very valid points. It's too late for 1.6. But it should be final shortly and we can start on 1.7 or 2.0.

Looking forward to that. I am working on a couple of sites that will have quite a bit of users - one of them is a transfer of a group in Facebook that has 20.000 users and is not working too well anymore

In the forum here, you have taken away the post icon, and that cleans things up a bit.
