So I finally got K1.6 installed, but now that I'm playing with setting up categories, how do you set the different colored backgrounds, like is shown on the Kunena demo site for 1.6??

Hello,

go into category manager, there edit a category that you want add a color, then select the tab settings and in the input "Forum CSS Class Suffix", add one of these class suffix :

* -blue
* -yellow
* -grey
* -red
* -pink

this needs to be put in docs.kunena.com, with maybe a better english

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I wrote about this nearly 3 months ago: see Kunena 1.6 - "Cats" (not the musical) . There's also a green colour, too. :D

Yes, the new templating features of K 1.6 will allow you to extend a range of customised colours of your own choosing. B)

The 1.6 documentation says:

The If you make want a colour to a specific category, go in backend and go into category manager, you need edit the specific category, then select the tab settings, in the field Forum CSS Class suffix put one the following items to have the desired colour

I have the 1.60 -RC1 installed on my localhost to tst it.
I cannot find the option mentioned in my Category >> Settings (I use the dutch language but tried to translate the options/routing)

I hoped I could use this option for my variuos 'Forums' (Read categories)
