Question How to add wrapper divs outside of ?

Hello guys,

I've installed Kunena 1.7.1 and it works great.
The pages of my site have some wrappers divs to set some styles. After opening the forum pages, they look like a bit different from the pages of the site. So, is it possible to add some divs outside <div id="Kunena"> so that forum pages will have the same look&feel as my site pages?

That's not the right way. The right way is to add some CSS rules into your main template to override Kunena CSS.

I knew this is not a good solution and I saw the disadvantages of changes in Kunena code. But, I have to change somewhere either template code or Kunena code. There are couple of things involved in. I want my component pages as well as the forum have the style but I may not want the article pages have the style too. If changing in template, both article and component pages will be affected.

In 99% of cases that's not true. You can define the style changes to apply only to your Kunena template, that will not affect your entire site, even though you should incorporate those changes within your site template CSS file. Do you understand the distinction I'm making here?

There is a lot of information under the FAQs menu item (see the menu above this forum) as well as elsewhere in the Wiki and in this forum. Matias is right. Adding extra HTML <div> wrappers is not a good way to go about this.

That's true and I've found where are the FAQ and WiKi. I will dig into it and see how I can balance the case.
