Question Last forum Issues (5 problems to solve)

So I thought to save me posting the odd issue every now and again, I would spend some time bashing the crap out of the code to find any potential issues and solve them all off the bat with your assistance

These are my forums: guardiansoflight.co.uk/forums (geeky I know, yet there's a lot of us!)

I've just installed Kunena 1.7, however these issues remained for me when I was using 1.6, so this seems to be the ideal place to get some template issues solved!


These are my list of issues with the template:

1. Inactive page numbers show very faint (see examples here ) making it almost impossible to see if a thread has multiple pages. Same issue when in a thread ( see here )

2. Line separators - When you look at a single post layout, the lines that normally mark out the profile area on the left, the top edge (below the blue bar) and the bottom edge at the end of the post (the one above the forum actions) can hardly be seen. This is the same for the topic history which shows when you reply to a thread

3. Profile area background colour - I only noticed this by going on my iphone (using Safari) and seeing the background of the left profile area on a post is actually a light grey colour on the template. On both Chrome and IE this doesn't show at all. This is the same for the topic history which shows when you reply to a thread.

4. Post issue: Emoticons - Kunena comes with 66 emoticons as standard, yet the template currently only shows 24 of them. This is very off-putting when we're considering adding in a number of custom emoticons. Kunena doesn't seem to show them by standard, yet surely there's a way (judging by how many sites running Kunena have a large emoticon box) to adjust this to make them show?

5. Post issue: Quote in Post - When you quote another message in a thread in your post, although there's a font adjustment, the box area around the quote and it's background do not show for Chrome/IE/Firefox. Example here .

Ok, using the links and information I've already provided above, I'll elaborate with pictures. The issues are highlighted in red in each picture.

1. Inactive page numbers show very faint both in the category topic areas ( fig. 1a ) and also in a thread itself ( fig. 1b )

2. The red lines that I have drawn in ( fig. 2a ) are really faint in the actual template and so you can hardly see them ( fig. 2b )

3. The profile area ( marked in red ) should have a light grey background but it doesn't.

4. Please explain how to do this, the reason I bought the template is because I'm not good a creating templates myself so I would love a link explaining how to do this!

5. Quote box area ( highlighted ) is meant to have a background colour to it but actually doesn't right now ( see here )
