Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Before posting in this category, please read sticky topics and, as general background, My Joomla site template makes a mess of Kunena .

If you have questions about third-party templates, please use the User-written Templates category or contact the author directly. This category should only be used for questions about templates developed and supported by the Kunena project.

last kunena install i had had a header.html which i edited to put a Google Adsense banner in, easy.

I`m building that site from the ground up and want to do the same again joomla 1.7 and kunena 1.7 but docs.kunena.org/index.php/Category:Templates hasn't been very forthcoming. *

Is there an overview on what files do what in the template ? If no i want to customise the forum header - how ?

* unless i misunderstood most of the template documentation appears to be obsolete

The documentation is obsolete and we haven't had time to create a new one. You don't have to edit Kunena templates to put banners into it:

docs.kunena.org/index.php/Module_Positions

thanks matias. are there any options to show different modules within different forum categories ? kunena_profilebox for category#1 has one module, kunena_profilebox in category#2 has something else ?
