Hi guys

Hope someone can help.

I'm trying to keep things simple and just want to change the default blue to red. I've done so using the template manager but on my live site, every now and again it just randomly displays the default blue.

Am i doing something wrong?

Cheers

G'day, illusionzzz, and welcome to Kunena.

Things should not happen randomly without a reason. It would be good to know more about how you've setup your website. Could you please post you K 1.6 configuration report ?

Thank you for your report. I am assuming that you have not edited your report and my comments are based on what you posted.

We strongly discourage the continued use of legacy mode with J! 1.5. K 1.6 is not tested with legacy mode. Legacy mode is not considered "Joomla-friendly" these days because of the potential for unsupported J! 1.0 extensions to cause problems. Further information is available in the topic Joomla legacy mode and Kunena .

Your report also shows that you are using a beta version of sh404SEF. Beta versions are discouraged on production websites because of the potential to cause problems that were not foreseen by the developers of those products. If you must use sh404SEF you should update to the latest stable release they offer.

Your report also shows that you are using J! 1.5.6. This is most unusual because K 1.6.x cannot be installed by the usual method (see K 1.6 Installation Guide ) because there is a version check as part of the Kunena installer process to require that you are running with J! 1.5.19 as a minimum. This point is made in K 1.6 Technical Requirements .

Your report also shows that you have K 1.6.4.

You will need to upgrade Joomla first (J! 1.5.23 is recommended) and follow advice contained in K 1.6 Upgrade Guide .

Your report also shows that you are trying to use Joomla SEO without but you do not have a .htaccess file. Please read Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) in the Wiki which explains how you can create this file.
