Please read the posting guidelines printed at the top of this page. Please refer to K 1.6 Technical Requirements . The technical requirements state that you need to have the latest releases of third-party software (particularly software that you want to integrate with Kunena) otherwise things will not work as expected. Your K 1.6 configuration report will show what version of Community Builder you have installed; many older versions of CB. You have not informed us about the version of Community Builder you have installed and that's probably the reason that you have problems.

When you say that your site crashes when you try to use the Kunena User Manager, you probably have some old software installed on your website. Please read the K 1.6.3 release information which clearly states

Kunena 1.6.3 is not compatible with modules or plug-ins designed for previous versions and we recommend you uninstall all Kunena 1.5 extensions before installing or upgrading.

That's a possibility, particularly when people create their own .htaccess files. Perhaps another option is for Dragonclawjtf to properly implement Joomla SEO .

It's my guess that the problem is that Dragonclawjtf is using an incompatible version of CB (CB 1.1, CB 1.2 or CB 1.2.1) or some other module that was designed for K 1.5 (particularly if his backend is "white-paging" like he claims). In all cases, when people upgrade from K 1.5 to K 1.6 they should read carefully read the K 1.6 Upgrade Guide in the Wiki. Reading this guide should avoid these kinds of issues that people might encounter when they upgrade.

My Kunena information is in my first post. After deleting .htaccess files, I'm getting no changes.
CB 1.4 is newest out there.
