Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

Well, something is different, isn't it? The technical requirements document states that you need to have PHP with JSON support enabled. You have that on your production site?

Hi sozzled,

I checked for the JSON support. I have PHP 5.2.6 (which comes standard with JSON) and the JSON support has not been disabled.

I will check everything again, but I don't know what else I can do.

I don't know what else to recommend. :( If Kunena works for you on a XAMPP website, but the same site does not work on your hosted environment, I think this says something about the environment.

Just a quick feedback: this issue is solved, the preview and everything else is working. As sozzled suggested, the JSON feature for PHP was the reason for the problem. JSON was available on the system, but it was not activated. Seems that this openSuSe speciality. After activation, the live previews works fine.
