When I try to modify any category I get the error, I can not add or removed anyone as a moderator. This is on any category.

The test site is a copy of all the files and database nothing new just a copy, on another subdomain. Get the same errors as the live site.

I went to your test site. In one category of yours "Saturday nights" you have assigned four moderators to this category - Frank, Scott, Bill, Robert.

I did not see any error in the "Saturday Nights" category on your test site. So I will again ask you the question:

Which category that you "just added" gives you the error message

Kunena Internal Error: Please enable Kunena Debug Mode and report problem in the www.kunena.org forum.

If you can assign moderators to other categories (like the "Saturday nights" category, for example), which category or categories can you not assign a moderator to? That is, after all, what is your question, isn't it?

When we know the detail about the specific category, or categories, we can look closer.

Or are you saying that you used to be able to assign moderators to all categories but now you can't assign any moderators? Can you please help me understand better the nature of the problem that you seem to be having. Thank you.

Yes I can not add or make anyone a moderator. I'm not see any errors on the site just in the administrator back-end.

From the Kunena Control panel ->User Manager -> select any user ->

Selected Moderator in the Rank title.

Next select the moderator tab

Selected Yes in the "Is moderator?"

Next pick any selected General Topics

Then Save

Setting for "General Topics"

Also I could not remove anyone that is a current moderator.

Yes, I agree with your assessment of the situation. I do not, yet, know the cause.

What puzzles me, immensely, is how you managed to get all your users with the same email address. I changed one of them (to something different) but I could not change it back the way it was originally. This might be a reason why the wheels have fallen off your website. Then again, I could be talking hot air!

No, everything is alright, Can you check the php error log. Or try to install it again, maybe a missing file.

Sozzled I changed all the email addresses in the database. Still gives the same errors on the normal site.

810 I did think about that so I installed another site with no add-ons a did a clean install of the Kunena 6.1.2. then re-imported and the Kunena asked to migrate.

But it could be a table layout that is incorrect. Removed Kunena and the database, sync the users and added a new category. Was able to added a user as a moderator. I will try to compare the tables to see what settings are different.

I have been using Kunena for awhile now.
