Important Need Assistance Creating a Poll

Hi Everyone:

I understand how to get a poll started with a new topic and selecting the icon for a poll. However, it is unclear how to proceed from this point? What are the steps? Do I just type in poll questions? What makes the checkboxes, etc? The Wiki documentation does not contain any information on this? All help is appreciated.

I figured out how to do this. However, I'm noticing that after creating the poll questions/options, they cannot be changed. I'm guessing that this is the case once votes have started to come in so as not to upset the data. Am I correct?

In fact, you can edit the poll options when you edit your message.

I was unable to change the wording of my options in the poll even when editing the message. I thought that perhaps there was another edit link that needed to be clicked but there isn't. All help appreciated.

Is it possible to extend the date deadline of a poll and if so how?

Just edit your message, you will be able to change poll options, date deadline....
