I am running Joomla! 1.5.20 Stable [ senu takaa ] 18-July-2010 18:00 GMT.
Does it matter a lot? I am a bit hesitant to upgrades.

All permissions are writable, except:
administrator/templates/
templates/

Then you should see in Joomla! backend Menus -- Kunena Menu ?

Edit: @moderators... change configuration report as a message in above ;)

I do have a Kunena Menu. I'm adding a prtscrn here, to show statuses of menu items. Hope your Dutch is not a limitation...

My host uses MySQL client version: 5.1.30.

Nonetheless, I don't see any prospect in migrating to another host. It too much effort in comparison with the bug in Kunena. Just suppose I'd have to shop around for a new host every time I encounter a bug in Joomla ! (add-ons)? I'm afraid this isn't possible.

Hello,

No, in your kunena configuration report it's showed MySQL version: 4.1.20-log, so your host or your account dones't have MySQL 5.0

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Thanks for your reply! I still don't feel like shopping around for another ISP! Depending on the latest software/server updates for your tool sets the threshold for use of open-source higher instead of lower.
