In Joomla > administrator > Kunena Configuration > Security

"User Can Delete Own Post" is answered "always."

Despite this, registered users are not allowed to delete their own posts. I have been trying for about two weeks. I have Kunena 1.6.0

What do I need to do to allow registered users to delete their own posts at

www.globalfreeenterprise.com/

Thank you for your help.

I tried to update it myself and I could not find out how. Then I saw
this message in the administrator > Kunena Configuration section:

"Not possible to connect to Kunena upgrade server."

How do I upgrade to 1.6.1 ?

That is not how you upgrade Kunena; that is not how you normally install most Joomla extensions. Some Joomla extensions provide an upgrade feature from the component admin. feature; Kunena is not one of them. To upgrade Kunena, please read the release notes: Kunena 1.6.1 Read Me .
