I rather keep friendly SEF on, but I already did a quick test with SEF off and it made no difference.
Problem is index.php not always placed in the URL.

By the way I have active inbound links and must keep /index.php/ as is. So I don't want SEF off or /index.php?/
Thanks for looking.

To make a cleaner sef and with current service provider I would have to move from windows server to Linux.
Too expensive for me at the moment and happy to keep with it for now.
Thanks and regards

Whole site gone?
I just logged on as myself in the forum to try it and got this error:
'No configuration file found and no installation code available. Exiting...'
and now my entire site is gone, or I cant see it including accessing the joomla administration.
Just nothing!
