Slow load in Kunena 1.6.1 was created by turminator
Hello,
I have installed Kunena 1.6.1 into my webcommunity and I look that there is a very slow load (more than 10 seconds to load). Is very strange because with Kunena 1.5.11 loads correctly.

Can help me?
Many thanks!

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Hello,
Look the source code of you page and check what javascript is loaded.
Disable all modules and plugins, and enable them one by one by checking each time if it's affect the load time of the page

Hi xillibit,
Thanks for your reply. I look it and I don't find any strange javascript. I try to disable some pluggin but this effect persist. It's strange because I have got installed a new plugin or component since Kunena update process.
Can you help me a little?
Many thanks!

Just a thought as it was slowing down my forum. If You use any SEF components, try disabling them and see if it speeds up. I used to use ACESEF, ditched it and now my site is fast. :woohoo:

I disable SH404SEF and slow speed persists. I don't know what more things I can do.

Your website loads a bucketload of Javascript libraries! If you read
Mootools 1.2.4
you will see that Javascript library conflicts can sometimes plays a part in slow loads of Kunena.
In your case your website loads two different Javascript libraries named mootools.js:
(1) /templates/myblogv2/src/mootools.js
(2)/plugins/system/mtupgrade/mootools.js
The second one is the one that's needed and used by Kunena. From the little bit of searching that I did, myblogv2 was around in December 2008. There's a fairly good chance that whatever customised Javascript was used in this Joomla extension is incompatible with Joomla 1.5.22 (or whatever version of Joomla you are using). See what happens if you eliminate myblogv2.
You are also using jQuery (as part of JomSocial). The version of JomSocial you are using may also be a contributing factor.
Can you please post your K 1.6 configuration report? Thank you.
