Question Move Post Issue

my forums are displaying the author of the post as the one who moved it instead of the moderator who actually moved the topic.


So instead of having Moved By: (name of moderator who moved the post)

i get

Moved By: (name of the OP)


how can i fix this?

the problem is when a moderator moves a post - the "moved by:" will show the name of the author of the post, instead of the moderator who moved the post.

and yes, it happens when you leave a shadow copy behind.

Thank you. Yes, you are quite right. Look at www.kunena.org/playground/main and you will see the topic "test today" which I moved that shows the wrong information.

Evidently there needs to be a bit more work done to solve this issue. :laugh:

as i recall, it used to work well in 1.6.0. (or was it 1.5.x?) can't remember. but i noticed it broke in 1.6.1.

Do you have tried under K1.6.2 ? I had fixed this issue somewhere in this version.

yes. i am using 1.6.2 now (copying configuration settings below). it seems sozzled also verified this.
