Hi there,

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 18874368 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /hermes/bosweb/web091/b911/ipg.deusermaster1/JaPRP/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 466

Out of memory at 18MB points to a lot of installed extensions. FOr example here on Kunena.org we run all Kunena pages in less than 7MB and that includes JomSocial integration.

You can extend the php memory limit in your php.ini file, but I would also check what all the extensions are that you have installed. Kunena itself needs just 3-4MB per page, the rest is Joomla and other extensions.

Hope this helps!

Ok. i will check what plugins i can be remove, but one question..I was running them same amount of plugins before the upgrade...would it not be an issue with the new upgrade to 1.6?

Thanks for your quick response!!

WIthout knowing what you are running it is hard to say. Any install can change dependencies and orders of how what gets executed. In general Kunena 1.6 requires less memory than 1.5 and will run significantly less queries.

18MB is a lot, pointing to many plugins and extensions.
