The Root cause is supposedly something like a javascript adding a space at the beginning of the xml.

Neither FF / Chrome can render the feed so I'm sure its not happy..

We do have private forums... some are completely private while others are "public read only"

(Side Bar - Kunena 1.6 was supposed to include group acl's, was that left out? was going to be great to assign permissions within kunena to specific forums and create just forum groups similar to vb / smf / phpbb - but with all the work done I'm still really excited and happy with the work!)

I'm sorry, I can't see what is the problem at the moment.

Where did you see a report that K 1.6 was going to include group ACLs. I would be very interested to see that report, too.

Seriously? you don't get the attached error?

All my browsers show this error Remote / Local No Matter

I was trying to find an old post and not sure if it was an official response or not... but oh well... it was before the 1st screen shots you posted about the 1.6Alpha...

Seriously, no, I have not seen this error at any of my websites where I use CB 1.2.3 and uddeIM 2.1, where I use K 1.6.x and J! 1.5.21. Do you see this RSS feed problem here at Kunena.com?

About the ACL issue: yes, I think your memory not be as reliable as you think. I began my "moderator's view of K 1.6" topic back in February. Design plans were not set in concrete back then (and they changed over time) but I don't remembers seeing any statement of an intention to deliver ACL with K 1.6. What I do remember seeing was that K 1.6 would be made J! 1.6-compliant but, as we also know, J! 1.6 hasn't been finished yet, either. I also remember reading that, even though K 1.6 would be J! 1.6-compliant, it was not originally intended that ACL functions would be incorporated into K 1.6. But, things change and there will be limited ACL functionality delivered in K 1.6.1 ... but not using J! 1.6 "native" functions. I could be wrong, too.

that statement could be seen pretty as pretty vague response...

you Don't see what the cause is... or you don't see that there is even a problem existing...

Oh well will hopefully find something...

I'm sorry. I do see the situation on your website. I didn't choose the words in my response very carefully and I apologise for that. I can't see what, at the moment, is causing the problem. I'll get back to this in a little while but, I'm fairly sure, if you search for XML Parsing Error you might find something that will help you.
