Do you have looked this topic : www.kunena.com/forum/168-k-16-support/63...er-javascript-issues

Yes I've seen that. I managed to get the BB code editor back. I added the mootools.js file from the upgrade plugin to my yootheme template in the js library. This seemed to allow it to work without slwoing the site down to snail pace. The one thing I do still get is the error - Kunena: You have a plugin that uses Mootools 1.1 or custom version of JHTMLBehavior.
Many features, including Quick Reply and BBCode editor may be broken.
Please enable System - Mootools Upgrade plugin.

Any way to disable the error?

Update - Ok, looks like the error was due to my template from yootheme running a diff mootools.js file. I updated this in the template library/js folder and then turned the mootools upgrade plugin back on. It now works fine, site is fast and the editor is back.

I think perhaps the two files were conflicting with eachother, causing the site slowness.

Ok I disabled the mootools upgrade plugin and the backend menu now works. Any idea how I can disable the Kunena warnings/alerts on the frontend? I would be happy to display this as the forum is now working fine due to some mootools hacking in the template.
