Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

How do I add a custom ID to a forum so that I can integrate with my Joomla menus? I either get the default or "0"

Hi,

You should not have to add any itemid - not can you in Joomla. The menu should do that for you.

However there are a few 3rd party menu modules out there that are broken and don't support the Joomla menu alias - hence you don't get the proper itemID. A work around is to not use the Joomla forum alias into the Kunena menu, but to add all menu entries into your main menu.

So you should see: Forum, Forum >> Index, Forum >> Recent, .... inside of your main menu.

I'm afraid not. I'm using the "Coolness" template from Joomlapolis, slightly modified graphically.

Please go to the link below and click on "Test Topic" or "New Topic". You'll see that my menu module on the left disappears. How can I fix this?
