Question Can't post topics.

Hi-

I've checked my global config a few times. I can't seem to post a topic. It won't let me select a category from the drop down menu.

Any suggestions. Did I miss something in the config? Using Jomsocial.

Many new users of Kunena encounter this problem. They install Kunena and then they change the configuration settings before they use it. 99% of the time, Kunena works without making a single change. I suggest you read very carefully this guide: Sections, Categories, sub-categories (Part 1) .

Thank you also for highlighting the mistake we've made in K 1.6: Do you see where your page says, "There are no forums in this category!" This is the wrong wording and we need to get it fixed. It should say

There are no categories in this section!

The absence of categories in those sections is what's causing your problem.
