Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

I realize that...I found nothing earlier in the forums by searching.

Kunena Version: 1.6.4 / 2011-05-07 / 4832 [ Kerkrade ]
JomSocial Version: 2.2.4
PHP version: 5.3.6
MySQL Version: 5.1.56
Web Server Version: Linux
Joomla! Template used: Beeze_20
JomSocial Template used: Default
Kunena Template: Default

thanks for your response, but "simply" upgrading software everytime is not a solution at this time. what was the solution prior to the new upgrade versions...? are all previous installations not functioning...? I thought K-1.6 was still being supported...?any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

On another note, I posted a different issue on Aug 28, without any response to date. Any direction for next step would be appreciated. you can see the post is here:
